Optromix UV CW 257.5 nm single-frequency Magius fiber laser is developed specifically for fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) writing. Optromix fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) writing workstation is based on the fourth Ytterbium laser harmonic. Magius fiber laser has a unique advantage over other lasers of its class – its wavelength. Optromix UV CW UV CW 257.5 nm single-frequency fiber laser is designed to replace excimer lasers for FBG writing. Argon lasers are huge, really hard to maintain, expensive and unreliable. Magius fiber laser is an excellent replacement of gas lasers; it is compact, stable and easy t0 maintain. Not to mention, it saves a lot of space, time and money.
Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) writing station consists of:
- Ultraviolet 257.2 nm fiber laser;
- Optical table;
- The air-filter box to deduct FBG writing station;
- Mechanical and optical elements assembled with adjustment and control components to create a Lloyd scheme interference pattern on the optical fiber.
